a witness called 911 and tried to help. >> they put a cloth around her neck and that is when she collapsed on the highway and that is when police arrived on the scene. officers drove her to the hospital and she is in her 40s but have not yet told us her name. the wound was 12 inches across and she lost a lot of blood. they are looking at surveillance cameras and hope to find something that could solve this case. a pickup truck is charged with running down and killing a traffic guard in trenton. the accidents along route 129 killed 69-year-old antonio wiley of trenton and that bennett from cream ridge, new jersey was driving with a suspended license, bennett is charged with causing a death while driving

with a suspended license. philadelphia police continue to question the man that -- meanwhile a second suspect in the case faced a judge today. chad pradelli is live at the scene of the crime in west philadelphia with the latest on the case. >> reporter: yes, 20-year-old sameer was arraigned on robbery and other charges, his accomplice and the alleged gunman, scott griffin has not yet been arraigned. the duo is accused of carjacking a woman at 59th and market sunday night and then as they tried to police griffin is accused of shooting officer james mccullough in the leg. i spoke with griffin's grandfather, he says that griffin headed down the wrong path about a decade ago when his mother died. police tell us that griffin is

bernie sanders and meantime bernie sanders spent the day in state college, pennsylvania and will campaign in northern liberties tomorrow. on the republican side, donald trump is expected to win handedly in his home state. he cast his vote in new york city. his opponents are turning their attention to pennsylvania. john kasich was in pittsburgh this afternoon and will be in delaware and chester county on thursday. it's not quite as warm out there this afternoon and we notice wind out there as well. but the sun is out there as well. lets head outside to adam joseph for the skinny on the weather. >> the sunshine is still bright and we have high clouds and notice the cooler wind as brian mentioned coming out of northerly direction, we had the highs early in the day and they are backing off. as we look at the present numbers, 68 in allentown and the numbers in the low 80s, a good 12 to 14 degrees cooler than

yesterday. 70 in philadelphia after topping off at 78 earlier this afternoon. 74 in millville, still warm in dover as the cooler air is trying to work south along the shore and many locations in the 60s. 23 miles per hour win gusts in the lehigh valley and 32 in the poconos as well as dover, 26 miles per hour in millville and atlantic city at the airport. 25 miles per hour. a red flag warning remains in effect until 8:00 tonight for the entire viewing area. a red flag warning means we have the combination of the winds sustained 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 until 8:00. and a bone dry air mass in place, dry for the last six days and a very dry ground and with the warm temperatures, that mean fz a fire was to spark it could easily spread. we'll talk brian in the accuweather forecast, the first chance of showers a couple of days from now. we'll let you know when they

heading into jersey is not where you want to be, causing delays on southbound 295 and southbound new jersey turnpike. head to the commodore barry bridge as an alternate. in maple shade, a crash at high street but speeds are in the teens. and in mount laurel, they are work on patching the sewer main break from yesterday. hartford road is closed until early tomorrow afternoon. bridge road is an alternate around that. we had mid-day construction on the westbound side of 422, the crews should be out of there now and speeds are in the teens westbound in the pottstown area, and in the backlog, a crash by limerick lynn field. so it's a mess. lets grab the ipad and do the commuter report on this tuesday afterno afternoon. if you want to head toward the commodore barry, slow traffic into chester but not nearly as

in dover, millville and the atlantic city airport. even along the shore temperatures much warmer than yesterday with the northerly wind, it was a land breeze as we look live from sky 6 hd in atlantic city, looking southbound towards ventnor and margate with the sunshine soaking the shore this afternoon. as we look at the present number, we are down to 70 in philadelphia, we lost 8 degrees from the high with the cooler winds moving in. 55 in binghamton and 57 in buffalo. high pressure is moving in and squashing that summer warmth to the south and will continue to do so as we go through the middle part of the week. satellite and radar, there are the high clouds with the front passing through and high pressure to the north and that dry air is continuing to push back in and pull the clouds to our south and out of the viewing area, so far tonight it turns clear with a moon lit sky and comfortable and seasonable. 40 in allentown and reading and

one man is dead after a stabbing in norristown. it happened on the 600 block of chain street they found christopher thomas and they brought him to einstein hospital where he died a short time later. katie mcginty met with leaders in center city. the national committee to preserve social security and medicare endorsed mcginty in today's event. she is running against joe sestak for the democratic nomination. the horticulture society teamed up to bring solar power to a local high school. the action cam was at the high school where they flipped the switch on the new solar panels. they powered the greenhouse in the community gardens, they give students and neighbors access to pressure produce. they will power the heater and fans and safety lights. >> pretty cool. hundreds of people flocked to north philadelphia for a chance to land a new job. they hosted philadelphia international airport's national job fair. more than 30 businesses and government agencies that operated within the airport were looking to fill immediate opening, it includes everything from cashiers to massage therapists and beauty stylists. they expected about 1800 people to show up for today's job fair. >> and good luck to all of them.

we want to take a look at breaking news we brought you moments ago, this involving a crash that is happening on the westbound side of the schuylkill expressway. this happening approaching 202, chopper 6 hd giving us live pictures now as authorities work to try to clear some of this debris out of the way. that white pickup truck was taking up more of the lanes moments ago but they are getting that more off to the side. this is indeed causing major backups and delays in the area,

now for going on 45 minutes. here is the camera shot, it gives us a vantage point, and no traffic is getting through. so what to do, coming west on the schuylkill expressway use south gulph road. and i would use the pennsylvania turnpike, and then on the westbound side of turnpike or use westchester avenue. on the eastbound side we had a broken down vehicle by montgomery and that got pushed off to the side and another portion is of 76 the pennsylvania turnpike past morgantown there is a crash in the left lane and a crash in limerick. and what a mess it is here on the delaware memorial bridge, emergency construction is just letting one man by getting into delaware, you have major jams on southbound 295 and the southbound turnpike and slow at
